I'm tired - got a headache - but not stressed and not smoked yeyyyyyy
my stats from the quit program:
julie - Free and Healing for 8 Hours and 52 Minutes, while extending my life expectancy , by avoiding the use of 8 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me £1.93. I have saved 42 minutes of my life.

Hey Bubbz I have been quit since last March. Had to for health reasons have Asthma and I was puffing on my inhaler in one hand and a fag in the other. Stupid...
But I do feel better apart from having put on a bit of weight since which I will be starting work on removing very soon.
I used patches which I found to be great. But I think the real secret is actually WANTING to quit. If you're determined to do it then you will succeed.
A little warning/hint... The 3rd day the 3rd week and the 3rd month are said to be the hardest. I know I found them all hard at the time.
Good luck with it tho!! Oh and if you need someone I'm here too.
Here's my stats...
Quitkeeper
I have been quit for 10 Months, 5 Days, 9 hours, 10 minutes and 38 seconds (311 days). I have saved £1,681.45 by not smoking 7,784 cigarettes. I have saved 3 Weeks, 6 Days and 40 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 10/03/2007 13:00
I found it easier to have cigs etc in the kitchen.. The idea of them being there wasnt as hard as them not being there is that makes sense, a case of wanting wot u aint got there. Keep it up hun

hi Ive been quit for one year! It is great im so glad i did it i smoked a long time up to 2 packs a day my spouse quit with me or it would of never worked for me.We did it cold turkey just throw it all out and dont touch it again no matter how much you want it. Go do something keep your mind of it. chew gum, certs go for walks, go shopping, play a game with your kids, clean, excercise. we did just what your saying changed our diets . my spouse even has lost 100 pounds im so proud. You can do it if you truly want to.It wont bother you after a short time they will stink i cant stand to be around them. good luck i hope you succeed! That is the only way to quit is to not do it! lol
I quit smokin about 5 months ago. Used the patch as well. Same reasoning. Got a 5 yr old and one on the way, gotta have the proper motivation ya know. I actually bummed one about a month and a half in and after about 2 puffs it tasted like SH*T and I knew I was done for good. Stay strong and remind yourself that your family needs ya around and youll be fine.
