Should Wass Participate in Future OFC Events? Please Vote
Hi guys,
I am just wondering if you as a group enjoy playing these events? As time goes on it seems harder and harder to spark interest in people. Even just to play the freeroll, we got more during out weekend .com $50 freeroll we used to have.
So basically do you think WassOnline should further promote these events?
If so, do you have any suggestions on how we as a group can get more people involved in these events, I am open to any suggestions.
I'm sure I will always try to get as many people that I can in these events, but to be honest I'm disappointed with the low turnout lately. We only had 35 Wass members join the games last weekend, and PokerTime gave everybody $10 just for signing up. So I did expect more to join up this time then usual.
I just want to know how you all feel.
Please comment below. Thanks

I think one of the problems is that each new OFC is in a new poker site, this means we have to download another site... and if playing the buy-in deposit in 1 more site.
I personally dont play any more OFCs for this reason.
I think we could make our own Wass Interforum League or Wass Interforum Monthly Game, hold every month on Wass poker.
We can have a big amount of players in the game and the site can gain more users as other forums will register to play this monthly game.

i have to agree that im fed up downloading a new site every time theres a game on, i play on it then delete it next day, cos i never win lol
if the games were on say 4 or 5 sites then it wouldnt be so bad
but i do still like playing them for Wassonline

i second what trish has said... its bad enough having 3 or 4 sites that we regularly use without downloading another site to register then play etc... its just a pain...
I do like giraugs idea tho and set our own interforum league on wass poker for once a mth and invite all other forums to take part if that was at all possible maybe we could look into this as wouldnt mind so much then as would be on site i already have.. as far as last mths ofc game went i just completely forgot to register duh what a donkey lol

Well I agree with Trish and also like giraugs idea............I like to play the ofc but hate it when like this last one had problems with the site for the freeroll I had no choice but to sitout as I could chat at the table but that was the only bit of the table that I could see despite logging out and also shutting computer down things were not much better for the buyin and it would not have been so bad but as it got close to the brl I just had to get out..............Personaly I think ofc should choose say 4 sites and just rotate round those sites..........

I am not really sure what benifits the OFC offers anymore.
If you are just a freeroll whore you can play a freeroll somewhere most hours of the day.
If you play to represent a forum what do you relly gain, there are so many players and so many donkeys at these games it is very unlikely that you will meet a player from your own forum at the table, and then you are open to grief about possible collusion.
Now that Wass has its own branded site what really is the point of taking Wassers away from their own site to help promote the competition.
I play primarily on Wass, I will jump over to any of the merge sites on occasion but I don't have an interest in downloading any additional sites to play a game or two knowing I won't go back.

I as trish, Giraug and buggerlugs kind off tired off downloading new sites just for these games. I love to play for wass but honeslty these games are more bingo than anything else, and I don¨t have the patience to play with so many players.
Sorry Cmax!! I know you do a great job on these events an I understand your disapontiment for the bad tournups of members. I have no idea on how to get more members involved.

I also agree with what has already been said. I really don't want to have to keep downloading other sites just for a freeroll. I wouldn't play the buyin as it means I would have to deposit and I am not prepared to do that just for 1 buyin game.

I'm going to have to agree with the others Corey, I think we should stand down from the competition. I think it would be courteous to inform OFC of why we are doing it though in the hope that they consider restructuring for the better.
Since Wasspoker came along I have been trying to reduce the number of sites I have on my PC, I'll be removing Poker Time tonight and it will be the last one I download for some time.
