Cake wednesday Game

wasn't sure where to put this, but any chance this game could have a shred of Active members about it? .. pokermom54 was annoying several of us with really poor bingo play and aggressive attitude then when she finallygave up her name (only because she asked what mine was and I answered wraslar in about 2 seconds lol) I find she is .. chris1982 10 posts .. last post 9th January!

I understand it's for all who meet the target etc .. but no active imput to the forum in 6 months and still on the FR scrounge? (I'm a FR scrounge some months but at least I do something, even if it's just annoy ppl)

i totally agree with waslar,i checked the top twenty and ithere was only seven name that i knew.do you not think that it would be best to use the same rules we have for the brl (ie you have to post so many times each month) for freerolls.

I agree with that. It is good that we run freerolls which those with as few a posts as 10 can play but I do think that they should have to keep posting. I think it would be a good idea that if they don't continue to post after they get 10 that their post count gets deleted.......

why not make trhe freerolls only for those who played a buyin in the month before

the buyins have about 30 players and the freerolls 70+

i totally agree something has to be done, as last nights game was only the second time i had played it ( and finished 2nd ) but it made me think if i ever want to play it again some of the play was terrible especially from pokermom

Can't remember the last time there was an active member freeroll, think it was the old PDC 50$ on friday and sat nights.


Pros and Cons of a 10+ posts 50$ Freeroll :

loads of crap on the forum because they post 10 one liners in 5 minutes and never come back again

Very poor poker play in the game (not the usual wass donk moves you can find in a freeroll)

Very poor behavior at the tables (donk you and laugh, no hi or GG, doesn't give forum name when asked....)

Gets the member count up (did it bring any active member to the forum ? Does the forum needs 1000000 members when there's only around 250 regular ones all others being ghost accounts or spongers ....)

Anyways, i think Wass would be better off without the Freerolls, there would probably be less spammers in the forum. As to the game itself, if i don't like it i can always not register

There is nothing that can really be done about it I am afraid, as Oups has pretty much summarised.

If you want to play 'better' poker then you should look at the buy-in games. Its the same in ring...if you are playing in the $0.02/$0.04 then you can expect 'worse' play than if you are $2/4 for example. The same can be said for tournaments. The lower the stakes, the worse the play, on the whole

would it be possible to make it 10+ posts but also make it a stipulation that members need to have posted 10+ posts per month to ensure that they are at least making a contribution to the forum?
At the moment the standard of play is annoying and they dont make any contribution to the forum, and they are ignorant and rude as well!!

We do have to remember some very important things when it comes to the Cake site: Members of Cake can change theire name every week and its absolutly impossible to keep up with the namechanges. Also If we hate the Wednesday freeroll so darn much.... why play them??? Its the same darn complaint every week.... getting boring lissening to it and seeing the admins and mods answering the same every week.

I stoped playing the weekly freeroll on Cake because I cant be bothred when we do have so many great buy-ins on Wasspoker (with some of the same donkeys... yeah the donkeys and rude ppl are everywhere) And I know that ppl are saying that ppl don't play nicly even in the BRL-games..... And ppl there usaly have over 50+ posts

Lets move on I say........... and lets play the games we do enjoy
