utter lack of respect!!
I dont care what is said but this call that was made in the $500 wass game tonight just showed total lack of respect and utterly is a joke... i got AQ utg and 980 chips left so push all in all folded to bb who makes call with 52os only because they had large chip stack...
promptly got rewarded for the call with flopped straight... just goes to show how sick calls get rewarded.. and it also showed in my eyes a lack of respect to the all in no matter the size on the all in.. if it was 100 chips more than his bb i would say fair enough

It was a brutal one but the underdog hands were winning a lot in that tourney. He was big stack and you have to ride it sometimes, he took his chance to eliminate a small stack. Horrible when you're on the end of it though. It prolly felt worse coz you were so card dead for ages. Better luck next time Welshy.

card dead aint the right explanation, i really felt like a dead man walking all game, i sat and got really frustrated at seeing 82 72 63 42 62 and plenty more like that... i got 5-6 good hands worth A: getting all my chips in with. B: being able to raise... i think i seen one ace with good kicker all game and all my folds were great folds as flops were miles off course, but that 52 has really busted my spirits... really feel like shit and cant be bothered playing poker no more!! my bad luck has run for over 2 mths now and doesnt seem to want to end

welshy i can understand you feelin sick over the hand that beat you....but ...had you been in blocks position, what would you have done....he had more than enough chips....courtesy of yours truely...lol...and had 400 in the pot allready being in sb...just one of those you need to let go and move on m8,on this occassion

I understand ur disbelief Adrian, but with this stack I would also make the call. Against any two cards there is a chance 40/60 to win this. You just had no fold equity with your stack.

probably would have folded knowing the way i am, and maybe thats what holds me back most of time.. i dont like to make these kind of calls.. if i had to as was short stacked and without another option i most likely would but i most definitely have folded hands like that before when i have been in same position...
im just gutted that it was a long and frustrating game with the amount of trash i kept getting dealt compared to 5-6 playable hands - specially as i was on an agressive table and for the payout zone to be just 5 and then that sick beat

Two sides I'll take on this one, just cuz it's welshy.
One, gotta feel for you mate, had the same kinda card treatment as of late from the carbon system RNG. Thought I'd turned the corner today in the early $100 but it was just a tease as it turned cold in time for me to bubble out with more missed flops.
Two, the amount of "equity" callers has grown. I've commented before that allot of players seem to have cabin fever or spring fever with how agressive they have become.
Combine those two factors and we just gotta sit there and take it until we can swing the odds in our favor, too bad it hasn't been as often as it should.
Pulling for you mate, as long as those of us who know how to combat this trend are still fighting, we will turn it back on track.
