Wow ..

1) This has happened to another member on the forum and even he/her had lost to a 5

2) Is there anything surrounding the number 5 which consequently leads to a bad beat ? I think NOT though

3) Your making the guy who beat you sound like a pet by calling him BB lol.

4) You played fair. Your actions were justified.Even a straight could not be made and i doubt if "BB" :P was chasing a flush..

5) What you could have done is made a raise of 6-7XBB at the start , but that would depend upon the table type and players. i wasn't there so i cant say much

6) Yup , you have suffered a Bad-Beat! But its no problemo! Your actions were justified. So go hit the tables and GL to you!

7) Look out for my thread Freeroll Strategy Analysis . It could be helpful

8) Cheers!

Why on earth would you make it 6 to 7 times the big blind? Do you not want someone with 55 to call if you have KK??

Well thats part of a strategy isn't it.

IF you bet say 6xBB they might assume you've got a real good premium hand. What they also know is that they've got a good hand.So they call.

If you've hit , you slow-play . If not you play aggressive. So you;ve hit here , you slow play , and wait for him to come all over the top.

It requires alot of experience trust me. So try it out , hope you've got an idea.

I really dont know the table type and players so i cant say much , like how i've mentioned in the post

Gl to you 2!
