Straight Flush beats my Quads

The other day at reefer I flopped 4 K's with a flop of Kh, Qh, Ks and a turn of 9h. Someone had Jh, 10h to not only take all my money, but leave me wishing I had sat down at a bad beat table and tried my luck there.

That is one hell of a bad beat.
Dan the Spam is a robot of what he calls bad beats, but to all other poker players they are everyday occurrence's.

I was watching a episode of "Poker After Dark" in the early hours of this morning and it was Gus Hansen and a bevvy of poker beauties all trying to take him out of the game.

This hand is just sick but it just goes to show it can happen to anyone

I had a really bad beat in 7 card in a live game once, not sure if I posted about it.


Started with 3's rolled in a limit $1/$2 game. Young lady, who was a hold em player, had AA in the hole showing some random card and was capping it. I had seen her play for about an hour so I knew she had no real concept of starting hands.

My next card was a 3.


Her next 4 cards.

4..... 4..... 4..... 4.....

They started the bad beat jackpot 2 months after I received this one at my local casino. I was really glad it was a $1/$2 game and not a $10/$20 game.

OMG. That's brutal. There's no way get away from it. If I was in same situation, I lose all my chips for sure.
