Is OFC a team game?
We are encouraged to play the OFC for the good of the forum and to put in a strong team performance but I get my blinds called and raised by a team mate who finally looks like they are going to dump to me (bets about 100 short of my stack) only to call my all-in re-raise and beat me with the trips he/she has made from rags.
Extremely disappointed. I have not played one of these for ages as I find them a waste of time anyway, fighting my way through 800 donkeys is not a way I like to spend my evening.
Well if nothing else I am a little wiser.
Todays lesson has been learned and in future, if I bother to play, I play for myself.
Wish I'd not even wasted my time and energy changing my avatar

Reason: more ranting needed
We were all lead to believe by administration that we are all playing as a team here at Wass Online, and it was far from the truth,
You need to take care of yourself in this game and not worry about anyone else, as alot of us experinced today!

Couldn't agree more.
I don't know whether to withdraw from tomorrows event after my experience with some of my "team mates" today.

Well well well, the TEAM WORK was just so amazing today that it reminds me of the guy with a rifle who blows his own leg off. Or the guy who scores a goal, for the other team. An amazing display of all for me and the hell with the rest of the team.
Being a true Wasser, I have decided to continue and play in Sunday's buyin to show my support for the Forum and the Wass players who are registered.
True in all respects, we all would like to finish 1st, but if i can help a fellow team mate along the way, give him/her a helping hand. What's to lose a few chips? Not like we Wassers aren't good enough to get them back.
Lets go Wassers

yeah ....i'm still gonna play ....i hope the team spirit is there this time...
So sorry Wassers tried to finished in top 100 the points were needed
but first I was not told we would be wearing Wass emblems so I had my butterfly. When asked was told opps.
But I let myself be known and still very little team play I can't sign up for the buy in unless by some chance I win something before it starts but I will be watching and routing us on. For the Wassers that played for themselves it's ok its all about the money! But maybe go to another forum mext time. This 1 is family
I have not been on much b/c of American rules but been a member for a longggggggggggggggg time both me and my brother Brucrew5

Well even though you are on the same team its still not a team sport and its considered cheating if you play as a team if you do things such as colluding or chip dumping. I use to play in tfcl where it was team against team and there was always debate over this situation. The best thing to do is not help your team mate but if they raise if you have marginal hand that you might normally call may'be don't call this time. If you do call try to give your teamates little hints like if you hit don't slow walk but allin or if they bet make huge reraise. If they go all in you got AA then call cause while its for the good of the team for each member to stay in as long as possible poker is still and individuals game not a partners game.
I came to check this site out but kinda dissapointed that you all was telling your members to cheat. In poker team event don't mean chip dump and cheat. Being new to this site and coming here cause I seen you all in the ofc to find a post that you all are talking about I'll give my teammate a few chips if they need it is disapointing. LOOK AT POKER RULES collusion, chip dumping all against the rules even in team sport I heard complaints and seen some on my table but till you see it on the forum in writing you can't blame the forum staff
