IN THAT STAGE, WHAT WOULD YOU RATHER BE HOLDING? PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY.

pretty much a coin flip, since he holding AQ and you have such a low pair, his straight possbilites bring it up a few percents..but bascially coin flip...Personally id rather hold the AQ, if it was 1010 or JJ id take that becuase it limits his hitting the straight and gives u a better chance

would prefer the AQ.think the odds are better plus personally very seldom win with threes

As they've said before, it's a coinflip. I'd only go all in in that situation if the blinds were really high, or if the table was low on players (like 4 or 5). Otherwise, what do you prefer? heads or tails?

As it was already said, chances are almost 50-50. Notice that it's the same with 44, 55, 66 etc.

But, of course, it would be way better if the AQ was suited, because it would open possibilities for a top pair, straight and even flush.

If I were low on chips, I would rather hold the 33's, and go all in pre-flop (and hope only one player calls, cause it would increase my chances).
If my chips were okay, I would never go all in with such hand.

My opinion is neither !! AQ dont like me and i very seldom win with small pairs in situations like this - only hand that seems to like me is 22 and even then its lost for me three times in 2 days and each time i have hit a set only for the guy with AK to hit runner runner flush or straights on me

i'll take the AQ if i have one of the 3's suit covered

I will take the pocket 3's every time. The pocket 3's are ahead preflop regardless of suit, its only 3-0.2 percent ahead depending on the suits of the cards.

I dont understand why anyone would want the AQ but I hope i play you all soon
