People often have misconceptions about how often certain memorable things happen - like losing with AA and getting sucked out on on the river. That's because they're unexpected. The point - or at least a key advantage - of keeping records is that you can examine empirical data, and not base your conclusions on what may be selective memories.

Bet your hand
The problem is with the ppayer with the large stack will sometimes call on flop if the odds are ok and then if they get a flop where they can catch on the turn or river they can usually afford to take a chance.
The only thing you can do isply the card you have....

Good question. Those who has lots of chips at a tournament play more agressively and the short stacks tend to think that these guys have the nuts when they raise - BUT after a few hands short stacked players think that their big stacked opponents are bluffing. They play more hands and bet with middle or bottom pairs.
Short Stacks are trying to get chips steal blinds.
Those who has more chips at a tournament rely on their chiplead and their luck. They get lucky so it's almost impossible to avoid it. Move all in when you think you have the best hand and pray for God to hold on.

i used to be like that, going allin short stack with AA or KK and getting a big stack to call me with rags and then get lucky and win it would piss me off each time. but then i started to think about all the times i was in a pot and called a small stack allin with a ATC hand (any two cards) just because the pot odds were right. so now when i get busted by a big stack with ATC i dont get pissed because i have done the same thing i just think thats poker. we both got the same 5 cards on the board and they just worked out better for him than they did me.

that is so true sometimes the hand that has no buisiness being in the hand usually wins by the the time the river comes it always happens why
