Biggest problem I have in tournament play is keeping my concetration throughout a long tournament. The other day in a multi tourney blinds are at 300 dollars and guy bets 831 dollars . I have aj and there is another guy in front of me so I all in so i can go heads up with the guy who is all in. Anyway I thought he was all in but he really wasn't and I didn't check to see I thought because he bet 831 dollars he was all in but he had me covered . Im really going to start paying more attention because not the first time I have done this just wondering if happened to anyone else. Who bets 832 dollars anywas doh.

redbull gets my heart racing at an alarming level and the crash after dosen't make it worth it but I drink tons of coffee Havent played live in a few months when I do its at foxwoods most of the dealers are guys and only a couple of atrractive women .

lol, I don't fall for that because I do it too. Some people get bored and like to trick people. You should try it sometime. Then you become the fooler instead of the foolee, and hopefully it never happens again. Also, I sometimes bet in cents, haha.

unless you were multi-tabling there is no excuse for not paying attention to the game. if only playing one table you should know who the shortstacks are and chipleaders. we all make mistakes and are looking to improve, sounds like an easy fix. remember, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

This is an older post but I get bored easily and it usually starts to creep up on me at 1st break. Regardless if I am chip leader, swimming in the middle or bringing up the rear. It's nice at that point to have a friend (or rival) on the table, a backburner game going (el cheapo tables) or someone on messenger (when it works, lol). Guessing if I played games that A. Cost a bit more & B. Paid a bit more my interest might be held longer than it is.

This is exactly why i like to bet odd numbers like 532 999 735...etc etc...It gets people angry for no reason.
