Default Hand advice

So i was playing the sunday 200k on PS the other week and I get TT in the SB with blinds at 500/1k and my stack is 14k. I just went allin the hand before. The action is on me and there is one other caller with a 8k stack. I push allin the BB folds and the guy with 8k calls. He has AT vs my TT and the flop is A of course. I was just wonderin how u guys would have played the hand differently. Should I have raised the pot 3x, min raise, or just limp???

I would have played the hand the same way. Just bad luck I think. You were all-in with the better hand, what more can you ask for?

Yeah I guess it didn't help that I went allin on the hand before. Oh well it happens

I don't think I would have pushed that in. An ace caller is essentially getting a free turn and river. Tough beat though, and agree the all-in prior hand probably worked against you.

There is nothing wrong how you played this hand. The blinds were increasing and you didn't have much money. You had to move in with 10s. Your opponent hit his 3 outer. You shouldn't think more about that. Just get over it. Sometimes you have to think about the NEXT tournament.

Good Luck & Have fun at the tables!

Have to respectfully disagree guys, he has 14 BBs and 10-10 is not a powerful hand. To much to soon.

What are you waiting for with 14BB? it's about 9-10 M
What's an all-in hand for such a short stack? The structure of the tournament at PokerStars differs from any other Merge client's.

Thats the beauty, we can agree to disagree. IMO most players panic and push to soon. Also depends how many minutes are left at this level, he will become a shortstack when it changes.
The hardest part of doing well in large field games is knowing when to change gears, when I used to play them alot it cost me alot of the time. I often said that my greatest strength (patience) is also my greatest weakness.
If we all played the same way the game would be boring as hell lol.

I am not surprised, if he is not shoving TT when he has only 14 BB, and is first to act in the SB, that MTT's cost him a lot...
OF COURSE YOU SHOVE!!!!! What are you going to wait for?
How else are you going to play TT here? raise 3x BB?? and then what if you get a small RR or overshove?

"10-10 is not a powerful hand" ffs! get poker stove Murray and see what it it beats...
