Direct Poker TV Show - 4th season - french only
Hello e1,
I'm proud to brag about my qualification for a french poker TV show.
At Poker Stars : Out of 3407 players in a Freeroll, I finished in top 18 and I won my place for a final Sat, and out of 736 players I finished in the top 6th, that invites me to a Poker TV show for the French TV Direct8, in Paris on November 13th and 14th... Great !
I'll try to save a video when it will be difused (but I think it will be in march 2010) lol

Direct 8 is the station, it's on the "cable" .
It will be like a shootout tourney, with every table registered separatly.
Winner of his/her table (6 players) win 1000 E in cash and is qulified for a 1/2 final...

I watched the 2 first steps, and it seems to be more impressive than difficult.
I feel a bit nervous seeing the day approaching. lol

Congrats mate thats awesome... I thought i had already said my congrats but looking now i only thought about it
Go kick ass im sure you will do great. Just take it as a game of cards, forget about the cameras and who you may be playing and play your own game. Really hope you enjoy it and i look forward to reading updates

Well, what can I say...
Unfortunatly I didn't win this tourney.
I had a the second stack when I hit pocket 8's and decide to raise. Everyone fold except the chip leader who calls me.
I think he may have AK. Flop comes with QJJ. I decide to bet pot to prevent the CL to chase a str8 but he raise on me. I was very commited in this pot because I had spent 4/5 of my stack. I decide to go All in, and he calls me with KK... lol
Out for the count.
I think I really have bad played this last hand, I should of been more patient, but the structure of the tournament is very fast, with blinds increase almost every turn of table.
But no regrets, it was a great experience and I feel good, no worries.
I hope I can live this experience again, coz it's very fun.

It's too bad the structure was fast and didn't give you more opportunity to play. But I'm not really surprised. It's probably tempting to do that to keep the TV crew cost down.
