What is everyones take on Rebuys,

Are they for you or not? I play rebuys really tight and do not rebuy. I have place high in a few rebuys make a ton on it cause of all the crazies. My 3 best are $5 rebuy place 4th for 479, 3rd twice in $3 rebuy for 332 and 321

Do you play them and are you like me or are you the crazy who makes me rich?

If you mean to play rebuy as do many bingo players going all in with JT or T9 no, it's not for me....i play rebuys as freezeout, but considering that there are many people who goes all in utg with a low pair.

If you don't plan to rebuy, why not simply play freezeouts? I understand that it's possible to win nice amounts if you place well, but I don't see how playing with one tournament life against people who have multiple lives is likely to be a profitable long-term strategy.

i've only played 2 buy in rebuy games due to the donk factor,that's why i dont play them it gets very crazy and i personally can't or have never found a good game in them at all.im glad i learnt that leason fast,although the only rebuy games i do play are the 1k freerolls at bodoggy but i never rebuy and do place,and its free even though the feild is big most donks tend to drop off earlier like just the crazy freerollers then in the end your left with the good players,i prefer freezeout's.

I agree on the fact Re-buys just get too crazy you are gonna be short stacked almost for sure if you dont rebuy and if you do you end up rebuying and end up getting a couple of bad beats and you think ive already spent $6 whats a couple more percentage wise suppose it makes sense but u end up getting sucked in for even more money just to get bubbled later when u shoulda just gone and played in two $3 freezouts in the first place. Least then u know what ure gonna win and gonna lose from the start. Well at least for me anyway cos im just not experienced enough to stay off tilt after a bad beat, and given the chance to go back in there on tilt is asking for my balance to be tilted down the drain.

I reckon if you play tight until the break, more times than not your in a reasonable position , and all the donks have doubled or trebled the kitty for you, but it can be frustrating people calling with any old cards just for the hell of it

There ok, but for the first period your going to see all in crazy and rebuys going insane.. They must have someone elses credit card?


Get past the end of the buy in period and you should have a reqular game. But with all the extra chips shoved in it is important to get an idea on your position. Some people seem to have a stack the size of king kong. The lead is often impossible to overcome, they call everything and raise your stack.

I realy hate rebuy tournaments. I like playing very calm at the beginning of the tournament but with rebuys people directly raise you all-in(because they have enough money and they want to get much chips in a short time... and if they lose they just rebuy...

Your results are nice

in my opinion are rebuy only for people with big bankrolls , its not real game. you can trying and rebuing its only about luck not about strategy

so i hate rebuys
