Default omaha hi/lo

are you an aggressive omaha hi/lo player? I've always carried the credo that if you can't raise a hand when you're the first in the hand, you better be raising. A lot of people think this is silly, but when you have a valuable and statistically probable hand over others to win, then why not bump it up and get value before the flop when everyone thinks they are equally probable online?

Not sure about omaha h/l... I have had mixed results. I love playing the game it just seems like there are so many chasers that it can be a crap shoot.

And I hate getting quartered. I wish it was more popular so I could practice at some small stakes

That is so true mate if you are going to be in a hand you better be rasing or fold...I found out too that this is the best way to play Omaha 08......

In any kind of poker, if there is no limpers, you better go in with a raise if you play the hand.

For me, unless the table action tell me otherwise, first in = raise 100% of the time if i play the hand. I play limit, so sometime if the table is very very bad and lousse, i'll play 87s from UTG and i just limp, i want more players in the pot so i could have good odds, but with KQs or AA, it's a raise always.

Raising too much in hi/lo is very dangerous, I prefer to follow the Negraneau small ball strategy in this game, I've had flopped boats and quads beaten by bigger ones on the river. As its played PL you can never bet out a good draw and run the risk of losing all or getting quartered by a lo str8. There are definitely times to raise and get the limpers out, but beware of just building the pot for a good draw
