I find the best way to play is to use position. Make sure you sit to the left of the maniacs and right of the tight players. This makes all the difference in the world. If you are to the left of a maniac, you can slow play him down and let him bet without having to check and give a free card once. Also, from late position, you can get your monsters realllly paid off. I find most people expect a "steal" or you to try to take the pot from late position with aweful hands. You get a lot more loose calls AND you get the earlier people who limped into the pot to call because they feel they are partially invested.

I agree but u can see it 2 ways. if u are first in the pot u can also steal the pot easier. many pots its just the first one that bet gonna win the pot. Also when u got strong draws and u opponent is tight-aggro u can get alot of good implied odds.

So there is positive and negative sides with early position, also its look very strong to CB into 2 players. If u got any sense of good playing u can take advantage of this.

Position by itself is an advantage in that having it means you're acting after the opponents and thus have the chance to base your decisions on more information. However, the advantage can be much greater if you appreciate that using position entails factoring this information into your choices of actions. This may seem self-evident, but it's not hard to find players who don't do this much if at all.
