I agree that it can be very bad, sometimes you should bet to make others fold, or you may be surprised by the turn or even more by the river. Slow play is good if you have the strongest hand possible otherwise, it may take you off.

when u flop the nuts there is a very low chance of some1 getting runner runner aces to win. maybe if u raised a little on the flop and pushed on the turn he might have folded but it is poker and it happens. with that hand id prob try to slow play it 80% of the time

The fact that slowplaying occasionally allows an opponent to draw out on you isn't a problem. It's not pleasant when it happens, but it's part of poker. You want opponents to have to hit two-outers on the river. That they sometimes do so doesn't change that.

Your right on the part of it being a part of poker, but i do prefer to not slowplay anymore since i get fucked alot of times with doing. So i go all in and hope for 1 call, this reduces the danger of more outs for more people...

I recomand to avoid slowplaying PF when you're not in HU
It's too dangerous.

Otherwise, yes when u have the nuts let people think they can outplay you !!

You were really UL with those 2 aces on Turn + River but it's part of variance. In 99% of the case you will win this hand and so you have to trap your opponent.

Respect

That was very unlucky, i would suggest betting more then the minimum to deter people from outdrawing. Sometimes its good to just raise substaintially..slow play doesnt always get the benefits in the end.

It can be useful to slow play when there are just one or two players in the hand and you think they have nothing, so you check to invite him to bluff..Instead i think it is always dangerous to do it when there are many players (expecially preflop) or when you think you're ahead but there's the possibility to be beaten (e.g. possible flush/straight draws), that's when you get bad beats
