Cool What I Like about the English

You know what I like about the Britts, they are so F****** lame, which in America is a horse that can't run anymore. Normally we shoot lame horses or they stand around and flap their lips, which to translate again

Just because someone puts 2 intelligent sentences together does that mean they cut & paste? Maybe in your case but others aren't as LAME as you!

In the beginning I had no interest in schools, books or lessons offered by the Poker Community. I thought you just put up money and played. That was a big mistake. As time went on I found school as a method of earning points so I could play in special tourneys. Now I realize that it is vital to improving my Poker skills. Let me give you two examples. As I was playing a tournament the other day I used pot odds, hand percentages, online tells and position to work my way through a pretty strong field of 4000 to come in 3rd in a recent tournament. There were 3 times that I was frustrated by aggressive players and got short stacked. In the past I would just push in with a good but not great hand and taken my chances. Instead I used patience and busted both of these players by getting great hands and using check raises. It was by far the most satisfying and one of the memorable high finishes I have had to date.

Do yourself and your game a favor and get to school and learn the P word!

The key word is patience.

lol this went from a solid post to jaycee wanting to take on the world....

i was a pxf subscriber... and one thing u need to ask yourself is.. Y WOULD TOP PROS WANT TO B JUST GIVING INFO OUT.?
u cannot copy what any other player does, although u can copy "sheets" spread sheets which are the top in the business, and always will be. Y not try creating situations u are comfortable with and able to make saine decisions. this isnt hard to do, but u def. have to b able to think outside the box.

Patience is one of the most important skills a poker player can have. If you have things going on inside your head that are prohibiting you from using the most important skill in poker you are in trouble.

So when that next bad beat hits, just remind yourself that patience is absolutely critical to playing profitably. If you find yourself not caring about patience anymore then go to bed. Your night is done, you're not winning anything tonight, and you are about to make things worse.

playing with to much patience can kill you to.. you get good cards, but you throw them away tough when the bully is raising you cause you want to get a great hand to kill the bully, as your stack gets destroyed. A bit of patience is good, but dont overdue it.
