Seems i forgot how to play poker when i'm close to the cash of late. The game was a $2 buyin with $20 added.Twenty players registered for the game.I probably should have folded this hand though huh?Or was it a good call by me with a bad unlucky result?I'm not sure what i think because i wanna say its a no brainer call, but yet i'm the one sitting with no cash from the prize pool.
I avoided this player for the whole game.As i'm aware of his type of skills lol. He's your typical donk who on every hand he wants to play pushes his chips skillfully all in
This hand 3 players had about the same amount of chips ($4,600) me,the big blind player, and the guy who pushed. Some will say he was pushing to steal blinds. Some may even say he had the position to do so.What do you wass members think of this hand?
Here's the result of the game. After he won the hand against me.He became chip leader. And eventually went on to bubble the tournament. That normally happens to players like that.Just a shame though that he took out the better players in the process IMO.

I think I would have called there too with QQ. I had a similar situation in a game last night and was not a happy novi but I knew I had made the right move at the right time and just got unlucky because the other player IMO is a total donk. I don't think you could have folded the QQ and it was the best hand going in.......which we all know, means, it's not likely to win lol
Unlucky deano but keep plugging away and you will come out more triumphant, more often then the donk who called you and then bubbled.

Nothing to add to Jo's post here. I agree totally.

You made the right call Deano! I have seen such bad play as of late in forum games, it's sickening beyond belief! I am stepping away from forum games and going back to sit in go's and cash games for a while. In forum games we expect better play and fun games, so when those 2 are gone might as well play public games where you at least expect the donks.

I think you made the right call especially knowing he was a donk. If you thought he had an ace or king and new he was a donk you probably didnt put him on any kind of kicker. You just got a bad result of him hitting an ace or kng. Him being the kind of player he was you were the huge favoite. As they say thers people who play to last in tournaments and people who play to win tournaments. you have to make those kind of calls to win tournaments.
