Cake Question? - Online Poker Forum and Casino Community

I recently made a trip to the St. Louis area(on the Illinois side), and I could not get Cake Poker to Open. Does the Cake Network allow you to play with IPs addresses, in Mo. or IL.?

I've just read their terms of service and I cant see any mention that they dont recognise Mo. or IL. IP addresses.

Just a thought, if it's a different computer , could it be a firewall issue?

I never had a problem in any other state. I may delete the software and reload.

Cake Poker along with Players and Doyle's Room are US friendly. Some places however (businesses, universities, etc.) ban IP addresses associated with online gaming sites. If you were on a wireless network associated with something like that than you may not be able to access the Cake Network. It should work once your off that network. Good luck

This was not the problem. Full Tilt, Absolute, and Poker Stars alll loaded fine. The only site I had trouble with was Cake.

i had problems loading cake a few days ago also but it was only on that 1 day

They were updating the network a few days ago. If this occurred around the 10th or 11th, can't remember the specific day than this would be why. The site was down for a while when they updated the network.

They must be updating the network< now. I can not get the software to load(from Ohio).

check if you accidentally blocked the program from running

Found a virus(s) on my computer, disabled my Norton Program. Just spent 4 hrs fixing the problem.

No clue how it got on the computer. However, it must of been recent(yesterday). First time this happened in over 6 years with Norton.
