Solution why you all get so much bad beats
I´ve start reading many posts on this forum now. And everywhere i realize, that people are seem to have a lot of bad beats.
Now, for the wass tourneys i´ve signed up to Cake and Carbon Poker, and played active (multiply hours) on both on them the last days. And i finally figured out, why there are so much bad beats.
First of all don´t be offended, but Cake and Carbon aren´t really good online poker sites!
1.) There are way to less different SNG´s, tourneys or cash tables,
mostly low buy in Hold´em. Took over 30 Minutes to get a 6 Seat Horse to go on Carbon. (Which i won, because nobody on this sites really know how to play anything but Hold´em)
2.) Both sites seems to be Hold´em only sites.
3.) On the Hold´em Cash tables, i can´t really find a good stakes table, mostly above 25C/50C (Cake) the tables are empty. Stud and Stud 8 (if availabe) are always empty.
4.) Because there are only low stakes tables (and there aren´t much of them), you will encounter horrible play every hand. No matter how much you raise with AA or KK or QQ, you will get called at least from 3 - 4 players. You´re odds for the AA holding up against them are small. (look for the set to hit on flop with no flush or straight out there, or fold)
All of that points above should make clear, why there are so many bad beats! And the bigest problem of all of the above points is, that this sites mostly are low stakes, not worth playing at all.
2 hours Limit Holdem on Cake 25C/50C (no higher stake where available) = 6 Suck-outs (and i only count suckouts with runner runner or river miracle) + net profit $2 (waste of time)
30 Minutes Limit Stud 8b on Full-Tilt 25C/50C (just to compare i took this low level) = no suck-out + net profit 24$ (1 single scoop just waiting for a real starting hand)
Conclusion: To get rid of this horrible suck-outs, move higher-stakes if you´re really a good player (so chance the site for cash games).
If you´re playing for profit, learn more games, it´s way lot easier to cash in all other events. But Cake and Carbon seems to me, they don´t want have good overall players, that´s why there is only hold´em.
Conclusion for me:
Cake: I try to clear the bonus, take my money out, and just play in the Wass Tourneys with a little money left in there.
Carbon: I maybe stay there for the Wass Tourneys, but possible will leave this site alone too.

If this approach works for you, fine. I've made a good deal of money playing .50/1 NL and below. Yes there are suckouts to contend with, but when I get my money in as say a 4:1 favorite against loose players, the four times I win far offset the one beat I take.

Not to get this mistaken, i love donkeys call, when i´m 4:1 Favourite as you say. To get 4:1 it has to be 1 caller.
Problem starts, if you hit a table (mostly lower stakes), where there is more than 1 caller!
And thats, like the headline said, why there are so many suck-outs.
By the way, checked out CD-Poker too, which has more quality play than Carbon or Cake.
So CD-Poker is fun to play at cashtables and tourneys
Fulltilt for multiple variations of games in cashtables and tourneys.
Carbon & Cake only tourneys for my point of view.

I think many of the people who complain about their bad beats on this, or any other, Forum should look at their own play first.
I bet that if they analise their own play and their own cards they will see that the bad beats they constantly complain about are not as frequent as they think.
Look at the position you play your hands from.
Look at the types of hands you play.
Analise the type of player who sucked out on you.
Analise the type of player that you are percieved to be at the table.
And as sicko says the play is different at lower limits, were more hands go to the river so therefore mathmatically there must be more suck outs.
One point to Sicko. Comparing 2 sites by playing for 2 hours at one and 30 minutes at another is not really a fair scientific analysis. Some pros say that they have run bad for 2 years before their luck has changed. Some people start to moan at the table if they have recieved 10 hands in a row which are not playable. I think perhaps you should run comparable hand analysis at all 3 sites over about 30 months, then your results might have some relevance.
good luck to you all
Nick

well personally i love carbonpoker. i started playing when it was poker.com and have only played on 2 other sites. i ended up playing on absolute and fulltilt for i while but i came baack because i love almost everything about carbon. The only difference is it seems like there is a lot of card catching on the river here =S

I agree with the previous comments. There will generally be more Fish Donks, just plain beginners playing the low stakes and probably still a fair amount in higher stakes too I guess. As for badbeats, they will happen from time to time and if you can't handle them,go play pingpong instead.
