Hey there children!
I recently had one of my best poker moments
I don't play high limits, because I am not that good at poker yet, I think. But this one really blew my mind
I was playing a 2$ tournament - I think there were like 150 Players in the game or so - and i was doing good. Not that good though but I had around 7000 chips and the average chip stack must have been around 5000. So I was patiently waiting for my next good start hand and suddenly there are the aces. I thought it might be the time to double up now or at least get some chips out of it, so I was kind of excited ^^
I raised preflop to 4BBs and only got one call from the guy sittin in the dealer button (two places after me) and everyone else folded.
If he wants to throw hands I'll throw hands i figured

But Lady Fortune wasn't with me this time. The Flop showed 38K or sth like that, but it definitely was a King and two low cards and it was a rainbow flop. No harm done I thought and checked. The other guy bets a pot and i push all-in. I thought he probably has AK and maybe he's on to me now, but i don't care, better grab the pot now.
But then he calls and shows me the Kings so i was down to 47 chips

One of the other players was angry at the pokerroom and told me it's always like that AA getting busted and that he played good and wasn't getting any chips out of it. He was also down to a couple 100 chips. But I told him to relax, chip & chair that's all you need.
At that time there was no ante so i waited for the BB (yes I really waited ^^), where I got A7s. I was forced All-In and I won 188 chips. Ok that was lucky. Next hand I get K9os and push again and win again

564 chips. Ok that was lucky, too. I also won the next hand I got involved in, i dont remember but i played slow but solid and i got my cards, too. I was up to 1600 chips again and from there it was so easy. I was so thrilled because I didn't give up and got my reward for that, that I suddenly had no fear and made all the right decisions. I was on a roll

In the end I won 70$ coming in first and the other guy came in 4th because we were both playing very good and ppl were so aware of us talking on the chat about how good we would play from now on and how bad the others were playing

I'm not sure but I think the chat helped to create a strong image!
For me that was a great

moment
How about u? I like hearing poker stories that dont happen every day =) fire away ^^
