Paul Hunter - RIP

Heard this morning of the news of Snooker player Paul Hunter's death.

I've seenhim play live a few times in the Welsh Open as a mate of mine is a good player and we always go to the tournament, I wasthere for his 2002 finalwin in Cardiff.

He was a great character in a game of very few.

Rest in Peace.

Great player, sure he was a great fella, leaving a wife and kid behind such a shame to hear about.

Was such a great player.

Him and Matthew Stephens were my favourite players.

He will be missed. I hope they re-name one of the tournaments after him, or run a special tournament in his name to raise money for charity.

very sad news. When he was playing last year while receiving treatment i thought it was very brave of him. My thoughts goes out to his wife and kids

Was really gutted to hear the news. Thought he'd got over it and was back on the mend.

He was a quality lad and a great player too. Life ain't fair.

Not only was he a great player he had character and personality with it,i'll miss watching him play

I felt a shudder go through me when i heard yesterday that he had passed away it is such a shame that he finally lost his battle with the big C.

It is a great lose not only to the game of snooker but to the whole world.

he was known as the david beckham of the snooker world he showed great courage when playing in tournaments even tho he was ill he will be sadly miss by many god bless him may he rest in peace and our thought's go out to his wife and child
