Any advice you will get is going to be more 3 months behind ( the current stuff in stores are 3 months or more behind what tech are working on or using). Believe it or not!!

I use Vista and it has loopholes. They say they will update but that also has holes in it. But then I use stuff differently than others.

The best I can tell anyone is to use Fire Fox instead of internet explorer! Fire fox is quicker and deletes tracking cookies when shut down instead of saved unlike internet explorer.

Check it out at :

Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client

if you do not use it already.

Ask Bill Gates and Microsoft that question! They designed Vista for the people there ask them please.

The squeaky wheel gets the oil!!!

i used on my laptop windows vista ....i had lot of problems, especially with network connections, and some programs didn't worked because of some required dlls. i'm so familiar with windows xp, i wouldn't change it for something so different like vista

It seem like we have to move on in the future... I mean.. first we were used to use 3.X, Later win 95 arrived... and win 98...win 2000, me etc... When I heard about Win XP.. I really didn't want it.

I bought me a new computer and I had to install XP on that one, because I had no other choice... after that I fell in love with XP. I bought a lap 2 years ago and thank god XP was on that too...

Now wista scares me.... I guess I have go get use to that one on the next computer. There will be a new computer soon.

OMG, the first people who understood what this post is about. I have to say thank you fritzson for your reply.

Yes, vista is a bit weird but we'll have to get used to it.

The "new" operation system is an Apple clone (again). As you know that Bill Gates worked for Apple and "stole" errm... "borrowed" the Windows Operation system's idea from them.
And now you see that your laptop has touchscreen like Apple's laptops.
