I have joined it, always liked the tour de france, followed it for many a year now, should be one of the most open in years too. Think i am waiting on just you to accept me into the league

I used to watch the Tour most years but after the drugs debacles in recent years I don't pay much attention, riders like Pantani and Virenque seemingly having great stamina only to test positive. I prefered the days of Indurain, Riis, Cipollini and Ullrich.
I would still regard it as the ultimate test of stamina though (for those not on drugs), so GL to those taking part.

Other than that i do agree with you about Indurain
He was the best i can remember

I have had a bash at picking a team balanced with climbers, sprinters and domestiques. There is a bias towards thirtysomethings as they tend to last the course better.
