MONDAY'S BEST
Dwight Howard, Magic
Facing elimination, Orlando's best player quieted the critics and came through in the clutch, scoring 32 points and pulling down 16 rebounds as the Magic stayed alive.
MONDAY'S WORST
Rasheed Wallace, Celtics
It is never a good thing when you have almost as many technical fouls (one) as shots made (two). Wallace went 2-for-7 from the field, scoring just four points.
TUESDAY'S BEST
Goran Dragic, Suns
He only played 18 minutes, but that was all the time he needed to do his best Steve Nash impersonation, finishing with eight points and eight assists off the bench.
TUESDAY'S WORST
Shannon Brown, Lakers
The Lakers were minus-21 with the high-flying reserve guard on the court. He went 1-for-7 from the floor and finished with just two points in 14 minutes.
WEDNESDAY'S BEST
Jameer Nelson, Magic
As we have found out in the past two games, Boston's Rajon Rondo isn't the only point guard in the series with serious game. Nelson tallied 24 points, five rebounds and five assists in the Orlando victory WEDNESDAY'S WORST
Ray Allen, Celtics
Even the player with the best-looking shot in the league misses from time to time. Allen knocked down only three of 11 attempts, finishing with nine points.
THURSDAY'S BEST
Kobe Bryant, Lakers
Ron Artest played the role of hero, but it was Bryant's 30 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and four blocked shots that put the Lakers in position for the victory.
THURSDAY'S WORST
Goran Dragic, Suns
The star of Game 4 was unable to leave his mark in Game 5, making just one shot from the field and handing out a single assist in limited action on the court.
FRIDAY'S BEST
Nate Robinson, Celtics
Nate was great, sparking Boston to take control with 13 second-quarter points. For someone who spent a season on the pine with two teams, it was actually his second-best game off the bench against Orlando this season
FRIDAY'S WORST
Rashard Lewis, Magic
Not a lot of production from the key cog for the Magic, missing all four 3-point attempts en route to seven points. The career 39.2 3-point shooter made 4-for-23 (17.4 percent) beyond the arc this series.
