The Sumosam Memorial Charity Cup

Hey y'all,

It gives me great pleasure to announce"The Sumosam Memorial Charity Cup" games. Twoofus, Spytty & myself have decided to put together a charity cup in Sumo's name to comemorate her spirit and dedication to this site.

50% of the proceeds generated by this cup, will be given to a charity of choice at the end of the year, on the anniversary of Sumosam's death. The charity tournaments would run the 25th of each month on Poker.com. It will be a NL Hold'em buy-in event w/unlimited $1 re-buysduring the first hr + 1 add on atbreak time. (amount of buy in to be seen).

Spitty is gracious enough to supply for usa trophy that he will have engraved specially for this cup. (NO, you can't keep it, it will have to be returned after the year is over, lol)

We have two format we could go for, so I very much would like your opinion. We could either:

A) The top 10 of each tournament would win a couponinto the cup final on October 25th. - or;

B) Any players who play in 4 tournaments or more automatically get a coupon to the final.

So it is now time for you guys to tell me which one you prefer, A or B. For the actual time, I will take in consideration both continent.

So please vote & feel free to give either me or Twoofus (our friendly liaison officer for this cup) :P:P:PLOL, your opinion.

I love the idea and I will go for it. I chose to vote for B though because the more ppl there are in a rebuy tournament the more dollars will be raised.

suppose it depends on the turnout I'm assuming it will be quite big as Sumosam was liked by all the members on here, so it would not be a formality to qualify in top 10.

I dont mind whatever everyone chooses as the only true winner will be the memory of sumosam and the chosen charity

great idea i will play in them all and very glad to see it is held on .com so everyone can play so no excuses for anyone get depositing on there if you have no money on there because not only will this be a great game but rasing money for a good cause is always good i will look forward to the games and hope to see many many of you there

i realy like the idea of entering 4 tournys and getting auto entry to final

most important thing is -- i assume ALL MONEY RAISED WILL GO TO A CHARITY AND ONLY PRIZE WILL BE THE SUMOSAM CUP FOR FIRST PLACE IN THE FINAL ??? no other prizes or payouts ????

if thats the case then it sounds good to me

I think it is a wonderful way to pay tribute to Sumosam's memory

and i know that some us have problems at river.com lol but there arent many places at this time that all of us can play at so i say yes .com
