Just wondered where members' nicknames originated from.
Obviously a lot are either actual names or slight variations of actual names, but what about the more, shall we say, 'exotic'?
Because my name is Simon, in my schooldays i was regularly called 'pieman', although it's just plain Si these days. Virtually all poker sites already have a 'pieman', and because i didn't wantany prefix or suffix i decided to use a name i was given by just a couple of people back in the late 80's.
It came from a long forgotten BBC children's t.v. show called'PieIn The Sky'. The plot centered on a couple - Pieman and Piewife who made pies filled with songs which were transported on the 'Pieship' to the planet Pie for the listening pleasure of the children there.

Mine comes from my initials (MC) and the fact that in the past I played a pool league and my teammates used to crack up when I went downto a shot....they said I looked like a sumo stomping....thus it became my nickname. Had the shirt embroidered and everything the rest of the team were peewee, long john, silky, jammer and c**t.

At the time of starting to play online, I had been working away from and stayed in a hotel for about 6 months. Made a lot of good friends from there but they insisted on calling me Mister Garrott, which was shortened to MisterG. (34 is my age)
Kinda wish I could change it now, as I moved on about 5 months ago. But I'm stuck with it now.

Mine is pretty simple too. My name is Suzie... and was born in 1972. I added the "Q" because I've been called "Suzie Q" my whole life. Not too hard to figure out, but you'd be surprised how many people think the 72 is my favorite poker hand .
