Speed up the internet!
If you have an old/slow computer then I recommend that you try Google Chrome the new browser. Here's a link to it
It seems to work a treat (so far!), please let me know how you all get along with it and if it breaks Wass in any way! My tests make it about 4-5 times faster than Firefox 3 which is a great browser too.

lol @ hissy fits
It would depend on the hissy fits lol If its problems with the browser then maybe but if its hardware hissy fits or operating system hissy fits then probably not..
Peace

But oh I dunno lol. I'll just keep note of the hissy's it has & see if I can figure out who what where & why

You can have lots of browsers and set your favorite one to be the default (it's not technical to do!)
Try em all out, I have to test out our pages on 5 different ones now plus the many versions of IE and firefox, eek
Anti Virus programs kill less powerful comps, get AVG Free which is lightweight and stops viruses just as well.
Also you should run "autoruns.exe" by microsoft which lets you see what programs run when you switch on your computer (half of which will be pre-loaders for MSN, itunes, toolbars etc.) and these aint necessary.
Anyhow's i'm blabbling on,
Have fun with making your computer run smoother, any probs then just post...

TY sheepy might try that, at the minute i use firefox,
i do have to say though i've always used AVG Free but version 8 really slowed me down, so i'm now using AVAST Free and it's soooooooo much better, it also updates automatically and doesn't freeze eveything up like AVG 8 did when it was updating, anyone else us AVAST? I'd be interested to know if it's as effective as AVG?
Thanks
Katy
