Change of nightly Wassonline games schedule
Due to low level of take up, the Wassonline Nightly After hours game @ WassPoker will be removed from the end of the month. We are also considering altering the time of the later Friday night $25 added buy in game on WassPoker if we continue to get less than 10 for it during August. We are currently review the whole of the Wassonline games schedule and will remove games that are not successful and add games where we feel we can improve things for the members.

This may be the wrong place to post this but can we have the different leagues compete in double up games. Ten teams with ten members can compete for ten games. The winning team can get free entry into a low cost tourney. Any thoughts?

night games
this is always going to be a problem, due to the large time difference between U.K. & U.S.A.
i would like to see more games with a reasonable buy-in where instead of added purse, the trny winner could get coupons to larger prize trny's.
i cannot think of a solution to the low turn-out to late games. some how wass needs to attract more U.S. players for these games to be successfull.

Motor's suggestion could be something to work on. I'm in the U.S. and I've never seen a banner for Wass. I discovered was by accident when I realized that PDC and Carbon was using the same platform. I searched for Merge sites and found Wass. Getting more U.S. affiliates to sign up would help.

We tried on several occasions to revive the Nightly Game. Was going somewhat fair with 10 players, but eventually no new interest and it's forgotten. Sorry to see it go, but if it improves Wass. So be it.
What you mean for the week Git. That's more help than you usually put in for the month. LOL

Stephen what I meant wasbthat I've never seen a Wass banner outside of a Wass site. When I started playing poker just last I found Cardplayer and Bluff magazine. Both magazines along with various major poker have poker affiliate banners all over them but no Wass

The time difference has always been and will remain a problem for organizing games, the latest most casual European players want to start an MTT is around the 11pm mark if not earlier. This makes it 6pm east coast which is difficult for working yanks to be ready to play.
The only real way around it is to have dedicated sites, one European and one USA. But even this doesn't really work as there are too few people at the present time to have to dedicated forums.
I would like to point out that no body even thinks about the west coast and fitting into their time frame.
What about early morning games at the weekend for us Europeans which would mean late night games for the Americans on pacific/vegas time
Nick
