I dont care how they are scored, I play most of them and am proud to be top of leader board for now, take my top 5 for the month and I'd still be top, but I cant see that change in the scoring will make a difference.

Think 6 games is too low. Play approximately 30 games a month depending what day the 1st games is maybe at least 10, also would probably have to alter the points structure as well as some games are worth 2 points some 3 and tuesday games 5 points.

You can never satisfy everyone,

Some say too many Games
Some games too Early
Some too Late
Some games are worth more points than others, so ones that can't play Tuesdays will have a disadvantage.
Their was supposed to be a grand total for points for the whole year so if they changed it now all points will have to be scrapped so ones at the top will be affected As it started in May, maybe it needs to run till April.

I wasn't posting to suggest a change to the leaderboard, just to see an average score.

I think that if you take the time to play them all, you deserve the credit.

I just wanted to see how some of the wassers pan out on the average finish. The point structure wouldn't necessarily have to change, unless you wanted to suggest a "winner". And I only suggested like 15 to 25% because for those that do miss games, they will miss them consistently, so missing 3 of 5 days every week means you only make an average of 33% of the games.

No need to retract anything Alan - you are a member of Wass and play the buy in games so you have a right of opinion as everyone else has.

To be honest however the scores are done it will never be perfect as there are so many permutations. To make the leaderboard more interesting you could add things like final table bonuses and bounties on the ones at the top of the table maybe 1st 5.

The list of options is endless and would only give evil an even bigger headache. She is doing a great job with the scores and I guess final say is up to her, maybe after a vote

I think changing the scoring will make a difference. I for one wont deposit on cake so i know i dont have much chance in getting high on the leaderboard. If say top 5 results were used instead those players that will only play one site and not the other would get more incentive to get involved and hit a chance at placing on the leaderboard.
I kinda lost interest in playing on .com now to be honest as i will never top the leaderboard, i have lost interest in those games too. Even top 5 results will make it difficult for someone only playing one site to get top because alot of months there is only 4 $5 games on each site a week which are obviously the games that bump peoples stats because of the multiplier rule. The leaderboard to me shows who plays the most and not technically the best player of the month. If that makes sense.

But again this post is on the idea side and not the whinging side as i couldnt care less if i play the games or not there are plenty of games for me too sink my teeth into anyway without them lol

Peace

The numbers are mutliplied together and all the points are added for the grand total.

I could be wrong but reading this you get points for just playing a buyin game which to me says that someone who plays every game ad say is placed between 10th and 20th is going to end up with more points than one who say just plays 4 games even if they make final table in them all.........
So those of us that don't play cake buyins stand very little chance...

Yup! Personally I think you should only score points for final table finishes and extra points depending how many enter, but I didnt make the rules. Maybe a vote needs to be put up with several options to decide how to score it best
