Leaderboard Shake up

In the New Year I was thinking of shaking up how we run the leaderboard. Point structure with multipliers running by the buyin amount etc. I have read the thread started by pastieman a while ago and saw the ideas posted by Barty and Katy.

I have a couple of months to get something into place for January. So if anyone has any suggestions please post them in this thread. Also, I will take suggestions from people who want to play in the league above suggestions from people who don't.

i am against a multiplier for the buyin !
the score should be based on the number of players and not on the amouth paid for.

1 interesting option is to make all the games bounty games with bonus points for kills.
liked the old system with points for placing and bonus for final places.
also would like to see the cake games included again.

Thanks Gary, look forward to that but I too would like the Cake games included, as they use to be, and perhaps this would increase the number of players in these games.

I also think it should be on the amount of players, also please include the cake games

I dont think it should include cake as i dont have account with cake , so not much point me being in it if im only in half the games

Why fix what isn't broken?? I think it runs well as it is but I am happy to go along with the majority.

I have an account at Cake but never play there so like Eunice not all games would count for me

Hi, was just thinking that it would be nice if the winner or top 3 or something got something for their efforts. I see the old buyin leaderboard competition had a hoody for the winner. If that's a bit steep maybe the top 3 could get comp point tokens worth 25k for first 15k and 10k for 2nd and 3rd? Not much but it would mount up if you won or placed in a few. Would also get you into that month's 50k freeroll too. It might attract one or two more players to the games which tend to have the same hardcore faces in them. Or they could just go mad and reinstate the hoody prize.

Alex I think the reason Gary started these leagues was because WassOnline was not showing any interest in the league/leaderboard that was running, which included all our games except CD1pnt. No prizes were ever awarded by Wass for winning the league, I know this as fact , never got a thing off them although prizes were advertised.

As it stands if you win the league you play a headsup against evilluck for $20. Katymaty won the first one after I started running the league. Evilluck beat Katy at headsup. Now the prize rolls over so the next winner, which was Novi, plays Evilluck for $40. This game needs to be arranged. If Novi wins she takes the $40 and the prize reverts to $20, if Evilluck wins the prize rolls again to $60.

After Novi I belive it was Alan (ootfurrevenge). I have had lots of stuff on lately with uni, work and live event so I haven't done Januarys yet. I will get onto that and also get Novis game arranged.

Play against Evil ?, 'she don't play any of our games', Evil or Doc don't even post anymore, are they still around? Never heard this before. Is this something new?
