Leaderboard Rules - Amended

The following set of rules will apply to the leaderboard from the 1st of September onwards.

1. The leaderboard is open to all members who are willing to pay the buyin for the relevant games on Wass Poker.

2. Once the first game of the calendar month has started, any new players must wait until the 1st game of the following month to be able to join. No exceptions will be made.

3. The games that count towards the leaderboard are:
Monday $2 + 20 buyin
Tuesday $5 + 50 buyin
Thursday $6 + 60 buyin
Friday $2 + 20 buyin x2

4. If there are less than 10 players entered into any of the above games, the game will be null and void with respect to the leaderboard and no points will be scored.

5. Points. Points will be awarded on a sliding scale. The easiest way to calculate your points is this. In a 20 man tournament, you finish in 9th place. Start by adding 1 to the number of entrants, 20+1=21.
Now deduct your posion from that number, 21-9=12. So you have 12 points.
This total is then multiplied by the amount of the buyin so the following points would apply:
Monday and Fridays 12x2= 24 points
Tuesdays 12x5= 60 points
Thursdays game counts as a $3 buyin for points purposes as $3 goes towards a bounty. 12x3= 36 points.

6. The winner of the leaderboard will play a heads up game agains Evilluck for $20. If Evilluck wins, the $20 will roll over each month until it gets won. Delays are possible in arranging the games with time schedules of winners and Evilluck having to be accounted for.

7. If a player on the leaderboard plays in 0 games for 3 consecutive months they will be removed from the leaderboard and will have to request to be placed back onto it. This rule is new and comes into effect from the 1st of September 2009.
