We also had two special awards, one for ChrisGill who took home the 'Player of the Weekend' trophy for making the final table twice in two nights - very well played!
Our second award, the 'Spirit of Wass' went to Patricia (Tricks27) for her oustanding bravery in not only playing the Saturday night, but dealing too despite two broken ribs from a nasty fall the Friday night.
Congratulations to everyone that got placed over the two nights - some very good poker was played! If you didn't....better luck this SEPTEMBER in WASS STOKE LIVE 2007!

5x5 league Round 5 Round Up
Week 5 saw the most shocks of any week yet with only one team beating lower placed opposition. That was the
Dangerous Divas of Wass who beat the
Usual Suspects 48-18 to move up to 4[sup]th[/sup] place, sadly for the Suspects they become the only team without a mathematical chance of winning. In the ‘Battle of the Cattle’ the
International Bullringers fought hard for a 43-24 win over
Team Untouchable Wales, the turning point being when
madmann308 accidentally went all-in with 10-3 off and hit a 10 on the river. Who says that you always have to push the right buttons?
Leaders
Team 420 lost their unbeaten record with a crushing 47-20 defeat against bottom placed
Ladies & Lemons, they are still three points clear at the top but they are being hounded for the title with two rounds to go.
The final match saw 4 man
Team UK go down without much of a fight to
Team Vitruvians who gained maximum points in a 52-14 win and set a new record for their 61 minute demolition, both teams are still in the running though and if the Brits can get a full team for next week they can still turn it around.

Omaha tournaments on Poker.com?
We are potentially looking at changing one of the Poker.com free rolls to Omaha instead of Texas hold'em...but we want your vote on the matter!
Whether you want to keep the Hold'em games or change them to Omaha - have your say
