How to Copy and Paste in the forum
Keyboard Shortcuts
One of the most useful things you can learn whilst typing on the keyboard is the keyboard shortcuts for copy and paste.
Note: If you’re using a Mac then use the ‘APPLE’ key instead of the ‘CTRL’ key for the same effect.
Copy and Paste
Highlight text using the left mouse button then press ‘CTRL’ and ‘C’ to copy the text onto the clipboard.
Now click where you want that text to go and press ‘CTRL’ and ‘V’ to paste it into position.
The text will be copied over and you can re-paste as many times as you like!
Try this out on a forum post, practice makes perfect!
Cut
Highlight text using the left mouse button then press ‘CTRL’ and ‘X’ to copy the text onto the clipboard.
This works in the same way as ‘copy’ but removes the highlighted text, useful to use if a sentence is in the wrong place!
Undo
Press ‘CTRL’ and ‘Z’ and whatever you last did will be undone. You can use this several times in case of any big accidents on the computer.
List of shortcuts

These shortcuts can also be used for pictures, folders, programs and anything else on a computer. The right mouse button can be used for cut, copy, paste, etc. as well as these shortcuts.
