Many people still have old web browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox 2.

Even older web browsers than these can be unsecure for credit card transactions or be a target for malicious programs.
Older web browsers will often display web pages poorly, work incorrectly or not even work at all!

We don’t want any Wass Forum members missing out on what today's web browsers have to offer; here’s what you will find featured in the new browsers:

Firefox 3

• Spell check (for any forms such as emails or forum posts)
• Dynamic search bar (performs a search on any keywords as you type)
• Add-on programs (hundreds of little useful programs to make life easier)
• Updates found automatically (easy updates of Firefox and any Add-ons are shown when you start Firefox)
• Zoom function (makes the entire page larger if you have trouble reading the text on a page)


Internet Explorer 7

• Advanced printing (shrinks an entire web page onto one sheet of A4 for printing)
• Tabbed browsing with quick tabs (see all tabbed pages at once to quickly find the page your after if you have many open at once)


Both Browsers (Fx3 & IE7)



• Tabbed browsing (can open many windows at once using tabs which saves on computer memory making things faster)
• Instant Search bar (search Google, ebay, Amazon etc. quickly in a permanent search box)


Recommendations

We recommend you download BOTH browsers and see which one’s your favourite. If you use Firefox and you’re running a windows computer then Internet Explorer will still be left on the programs menu in windows.

Please do NOT download the ‘beta’ version of Internet Explorer 8 as it’s still in the test stage and has many bugs.
