Inter Forum League Teams - Online Poker Forum and Casino Community

We have been challenged to pit our teams against poker.com forum teams to find the overall Champion Team!! With only 5 teams places available to wass we will maybe have to hold some qualifier games to find our best teams to represent us. Wass will have 5 teams of 6 players and poker.com forum will also have 5 teams of 6 players.

I am open to suggestion on how we can get the best teams for us, they can be existing teams or even new teams. Either have custom 5 v 5 sng’s or a 1 off MTT, maybe even take the top 5 teams from existing BRL data? Its all up to you so please post your suggestions.

The games will be played 1 each month (first Saturday of each month) $1.10 buyin and run for 5 months. We will hopefully have a freeroll for the winning team (s).

Hard one to work out. Have a one off qualifing game will not necessary give the best team as one or two might just have a lucky night. I would nearly hand pick a team using the data from the BRL games and the 5x5 games. These team games are alot different from ordinary tourneys and a different approach is needed as sometimes winning is not the most important thing (and no taking apart does not come into this one

). I don't tthink i am the best team player out there as I am still learning this art through the BRL games. So all I would like to see is the strongest Wass squad being put forward.

Which other forums are going to take part?

we will be up against poker.com forum teams so we need 5 good strong teams to hold onto our lead in the forum challenge fight

I think that this is gonna be a great league when it gets off and running. I personally dont think that qualifiers are a good idea as they are just gonna be one off games and only judged for that one performance. I do like the idea off using the data from the bragging leagues and 5x5 leagues as this will give you a better idea all round of peoples play within a team. But then again you might get ppl that dont play the braggin leagues or also the 5 x 5 wanting to participate in this and think it a bit unfair to to only use the data from these leagues to pick teams..

Whatever is decided is eventually going to only come to one conclusion anyways and that is:

WASS WINS AGAIN

What if we poll the top teams of all 3 leagues (IE - BRL, 5 v 5 and world cup) to see who actually wants to play for their said team and then play some custom sng's to get the top 5 teams?

This is gonna be quite difficult I think and either way some people are not going to like it.

I will pm captains of BRL /5v5 & world cup teams and ask them to leave feedback on this thread.

I agree this is great and feel the BRL is the only way to judge good team play. If you look to see if the top 5 teams wanna play at the end of this month maybe.

The 5x5 is good team play too but it is in a different style.

This seems to be the same kind of gameplay as the BRL so surely that is the best way to pick the teams.

If other players want to play in a team then why arent they in a team for the BRL now, there are plenty of places available. And at least you know BRL players are REAL team players as they play every weekend for no Capital gain but purely for the love of team competition and bragging rights.

great idea bubbzzzz........... but as i said in my post not far above.. what about the players that dont participate for any team at this said time? what if one of them misses out on what is a FORUM game? Wouldnt you be slightly peeved if you didnt play for a team but had the funds to paricipate in these games but wasnt allowed as the teams consisted of just ppl that played either br or 5x5 or the world cup? i know this is only in early stages but i think that there should have been a poll on this on the way to pick players for the said teams

Firstly I will give this some more thought and get my team to read the thread. As teams are saying there is too much going on to play the 5x5 2nd season this would add even more also which are the 3 top teams of each group that you will poll.

well this is why we are trying to sort it out now, the first game is 5th May and teams need to be listed before 2nd May.

If anyone wants to play then theres nothing stopping them joining a BRL team even as a spare so then they are eligible to play these games, this is set out for the long term league players and we need to have rules to cover both forums so all your input is greatly appreciated hun.
