WASS US LIVE TOURNEY - Poll#2 (Wassers outside of North America Please Vote)
MsMaxim has asked me to take over the planning of the first Wass US Live Tourney. To be quite honest I am limited on time, what with the four kids, finishing my degree, and the part-time job I hope to start in a couple of weeks. So, to lessen the work load I have added this poll. In spite of the fact that so many voiced their approval of the Chicago/Indiana arrangements in previous posts, there have been rumors circulating that some would prefer the festivities to take place in Vegas. In an effort to accomodate the masses I would like to see what the current feeling is. This poll, coupled with the poll I have post for any North American wassers that are interested in making the trip, will help me determine where I need to focus my efforts in organizing this event. Please be aware that I have not checked for location availability or pricing as of this moment. Those details will be provided once I have assessed the needs and wants of forum members.

I'm assuming that we are still talking about a March of 2008 date? Might be something else for people to consider, with the weather and all.
I still voted Chicago, but not for the reasons listed.
1. Other than Boston, no other place is better for St. Paddys Day.
2. Like I'd make it to the Wass games if we did this in Vegas, LOL
(P.S. might I add that Omaha is cheap, in the middle of the country, got a few Casinos right in town, and relatively decent weather in March, in case we re-vote completely. Although, there isn't much of anything else to do, so noone will get lost sight-seeing either, lol)

Yes we are talking about March 2008. It will be much colder in Chicago but last I checked we weren't planning many outdoor activities lol. I agree, nowhere better for St. Pats... will be one big party that week. Who knows, some of you may be grateful for the cooler air after a bit of drinking lol.

Hey up still hoping for it to happen in chicago as want to make a bit of a holiday out of it, plus it is a relatively easy place to reach from europe which is all good. Good luck with it all.

thanks for the post dogma. it looks like more people are leaning toward chicago. I know the number of votes isnt staggering but I will have to get started on the details soon so everyone can make the necessary arrangements. I'll give it a bit longer just to be sure...
