Thanks for the replies. After speaking with Doc and the half dozen of you that have posted that you are anti-doing this 4 times a year and some of your views on rather playing one game on a Sat and socialise on a Fri, then I will be arranging an Annual Event.

This will more than most likely be a £50 one game (Saturday) 'WUKPT' Event. Thus giving Friday free to 'socialise' if you want to lol. I will be looking at holding it on the coast. This will be possibly June (out-of-season ...just, helping keep the hotel cost down) Possibly Blackpool or Brighton. There are plenty of cheap B&B's.

We'll look at playing satallite games, thus incorporating wassonline to encourage old and new over the coming months. The satallite games may well cover a certain amount of travel/hotel costs as well as a seat. Thus it will give the chance to all players from Wass to get there as there will be quite a few I dare say that can't afford to go to the current live games held.

I will work out the figures and post in the New Year. This way those 40% of people who actually voted to 'increase' the buy-in can look forward to a reasonably serious game of poker with players you play with online, both old and new, that will only help improve their live game.

This sounds a really good ideas as it would not cost anyone anything extra really and we would end up with a nice prize pool. Plus some people might only mant to stay the ne night and thus this again would save them a couple of quid. If the satelies included a babysitter in their prize then they would be abslotulely perfect

i vote brighton coz i got family there i can stay with also make it early june as i'm booked for Canada later than month Great idea though and hows about one in Glasgow just to prove u wassers aint anti-scottish

we do blackpool most years just for a break ..

as my weekends are realy tied up for 6 months at least ..
