WassOnline Newcastle 2008 is coming soon, so please read these important updates!

Event Schedule:

Friday 15th Feb

6PM - Welcome to the casino and pre-game drinks
7:45PM - Group Photo and Seating
8PM - Shuffle up and deal
9:30PM - 10 Minute Break
11PM - Buffet
11:30 - Game Resumes
2AM(estimated) - Game ends and awards

Saturday 16th Feb

1PM - Buffet at the Quality hotel, sponsored by WassOnline
6PM - Pre-game drinks at the casino
6:45PM - Group photo and seating
7PM - Shuffle up and deal
9PM - 10 minute break
11PM - Break for Buffet
11:30PM - Game Resumes
2AM (est) - Game ends and Awards


Please allow enough time to register at the casino and collect your welcome pack! This contains LOADS of free goodies as well as your coupons for the buffet and drinks, so you don't want to miss this! The WassOnline reps will be there to welcome everyone from 6PM onwards at the casino!

Wass Newcastle Live is being held at the Grosvenor Casino and poker room, the address is as follows;

Directions

From the A1 Western bypass (North or South) turn onto the A184 following the signs for Gateshead. Follow signs for Redheugh Bridge, Newcastle Ciry Centre, A189. the casino is on the other side of the bridge and is very visable! Enter car park directly from A189. From Newcastle City Centre, head for the football ground St James Park, then follow the signs for Redheugh Bridge. From there, follow signs for George Street Industrial Estate and enter the car park from George Street.


Extra Info

Please don't forget that you need to bring valid I.D with you to be allowed to enter the casino! Entry is free, but you MUST register as a member before entering. Joining on the night takes about 5 minutes, but we advise that you allow plenty of time due to the amount of players that will be trying to join at the same time!

On both nights the buy-in is £20+£5. The first night will be a bounty tournament with £10 on everyones head, and the 2nd night (main event) will be a standard tournament.

There will be tables available to those who make an early exit to organise sit n go's as well as cash games as and when required!

The WassOnline Buffet

The buffet on the Saturday afternoon at the Quality Hotel is a purely social event that has been organised by WassOnline to give the members of the site the chance to socilaise in a relaxed atmosphere outside of the casino. It is free to attend, but you will need to bring your pass (you will get this in your welcome pack on the Friday night in the casino, or you can collect it at the door if you have registered). It is a 2 course hot buffet, so it should be enough to see you through to the buffet at the casino that night! If you wish to attend - please post your username here!

Can I add, can all attendees please remember that you MUST be a member of the casino where the event is held. Even if your a member of Grosvenor, you still have to join each individual casino.

Remember to bring some sort of ID with you, passports and driving licenses are ideal.

It takes between 5 and 10 minutes to join, but remember if 60 of you all turn up at 6pm its gonna be a slow process.

If possible pop along on the afternoon and join. You'll be glad you did on the night time.
