Ok guys heres the deal with the hotel. Its listed on AA route finder as 0.2 miles away from casino. It IS NOT part of the Quality Group. Its on the Banks of the River Thames and looks really nice. Heres a link to the webpage for pics etc.

The cost is £70 the rate we have managed to secure at previous events, or £55 for a single. We get breakfast, free parking and free use of leisure facilities. This is a four star hotel with a very good reputation

The rooms we have secured will be held until August 20th. So please book as soon as you know you are coming. If you can, post on here too and let us know what room you have booked, will help with any communications we need to make with them in future.

You will need to give your card number to hold the room, but NO money will be taken until after your stay.

The instructions to get the deal are as follows:

2. Ask for Reservations

3. Give our discount code which is: WOP (as in WassOnlinePoker)

4. Ask them for your reservation number (make sure you get this)

5. Ask for Email confirmation

For anyone who doesn't want a long drive from the north east I have found a flight with BA flying from newcastle for £84.90 return flight at dinnerer time to Heathrow and return early afternoon sunday

I have researched all the cheapy flight poviders and this one still comes up the cheapest i am awaiting confirmation from Cath before we book as they will become more expensive later

Apparantly there is a bus every 15 mins from Heathrow to Reading so it seems less hasstle than a long drive to me anyway

OK here goes,7.25pm just telephoned hotel and asked for reservation got put through and quoted WOP, room cost £165 per night WHAT, I informed the rep that we have a block booking but he had no details, suggested I ring back 9-5pm which I will do tomorrow.

Got 3 twins booked. She gave me ref numbers & I got an email with them on too.

Edit: Just seen Pastie's post. It was a woman called Tania who dealt with mine, she said she was the one who sorted it.

£165 is what you'd be paying without our reductions. You have to phone and ask for reservations. Tash did tell me initially to phone between 9-5 but wasn't told that today.

Anyway going on pasties experience phone between 9 and 5.

Sorry Gary my bad forgot to say that today as we are a discounted group booking it will be delt with by the hotel it's self not by the centeral rez department for Holiday Inn that's how we got such a good discount...by dealing with them direct, sorry once again but please call the hotel between 9am-17.00 Mon-Fri.
