Firstly my thanks to Graham and Shaz as they kindly gave me a lift and made sure i turned up lol. They have become really close friends and i'm lucky to have them. Also Tina for threatening to kidnap me if i didn't go- that sure did the trick lol.

I'm terrified of motorways and Graham was great to put me at ease, even when i was panicing in the back of the car when we were boxed in by trucks.

We arrived at the hotel and to be honest i can't remember who i met first, i was so excited but nervous too!

I have the treasured memories of sitting outside on the terrace meeting everyone for the first time. Everyone one of you were so welcoming and made me feel at ease, and it was fantastic to finally put faces to names!
It was lovely to meet you all and Nikki was very good to put up with me coming in to out hotel room just as she was getting up for breakfast lol.

Really enjoyed the live game Friday night, it was a formidable table- with Gaz, derek, Pastie etc. Managed one bounty but then Hami donked me- I had JJ and he has 3 4 he hit the straight lmao, he was destined for the win from there!

The first night (and morning) Trish, Derek, Hami, Andy, Lottie, Wayne and a few others stopped up all night playing SNG's. Decided to catch breakfast and then go to bed lol.
Trouble is when i got up i was saying good morning to everyone all afternoon lol.

Saturday night was more serious but to be honest it was hard to be serious on our table, Lee(halfdays) was a great dealer and a great laugh- we did all the emocons from the merge sites- poker went a bit askew lol. Anyway the Git took me out much to his delight, lol, and i'm suprised he didn't dance on the poker table.

Trish and Zed bought me the sweetest gifts, thank you, and Trish and i partied long into the night, Trish you are one very special lady

It was so nice to finally meet my Hubby and Wifey no 1- Gary and Sue, and to meet my cyber sis Trish, also to meet Alan and Zander, see Tina and Simon again.........................Wayne (Sigh I lurve you all). Honest Wayne was so funny he made me laugh all weekend.
The list of people is endless, but there are some people that helped make the weekend very special, infact you all did, so thankyou from the bottom of my heart, i've always read the threads of the live events but attending one was just a wish come true. I honestly can't wait for the next one, i lurve you all LMAO
By the way i now know why you stuffed an orange into Waynes mouth

It was a pleasure to meet my Arch Enemy and Teamie at last Kat. You were everything I expected and more, it was a great weekend and can't wait to see you again at the next Live Event. xxxxxxx

Great post Katy and yes I remember getting up for breakfast (after Wayne phoned me at 7:30am, I don't even get up that early when I am at home LOL) and finding lots of you still up from the night before. Lottie in her PJs and most people complaining about the food not being cooked properly.

Was great to finally meet you Katy and I had a good laugh with you, although I didn't get to spend that much time with you in all. I become a bit of a loner at these events because I am not good around a lot of people. I find it very intimidating and i'm not great at making conversation with people I don't know that well but that said it was still a great weekend with great people and I can't wait to see you at the next live event Katy.

superb post katy...as a 1st time live event attendee myself i agree ev1 makes you feel at ease .....dont know who you met 1st in the hotel but i can tell you i met you ,fudgie and shaz trundelling the suitcases over the road from the carpark........great to finally meet you folks
