Stoke Live 2010

Stoke Live 2010 will be held on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th of September.

We will again be guests at the Grosvenor casino in the very capable hands of Matt, the card room manager. I think the majority of people will agree he is the best manager we have had at any of our events.

Friday night:
£10 buyin + £10 bounty + £5 fee
The game will be scheduled to start at 8pm. Break time for buffet will be approximately 11pm (this is subject to change).

Saturday night:
£20 buyin + £5 fee, straight freezeout.
The game will be scheduled to start at 7pm.

I will make a seperate post for the hotel and for the list

Me and Golf will be attending the stoke event ( hes posting in the other thread ) but we also are looking at having a round of golf if anyone is interested?

I'll mention it halfdays, I know him and his mate Dan play golf. Are there any courses close by? not something I would know.

we had a quick look theres a couple courses near by but didn't know if anyone had played up there before? I know Steve plays so maybe he will be ready?

well people have made all sorts of arangements on our live events weekends

and most people end up sitting in the hotel playing poker while waiting for the night to go to the casino playing poker lol

i tried to set up a day at the races when we were last at newcastle ...unfortunatly it was cancelled due to a water logged track...on saturday 25th sept there are 3 meetings on within drving distance ....CHESTER and HAYDOCK PARK.....BOTH LIVE ON CHANNEL 4...YOU COULD BE ON THE TV!!!!!!.....the 3rd is a little further to drive but ive been there and its a terrific advert for a day out at the races ....MARKET RASEN over the jumps........there will be 3 spare seats in my car if anyone wants to go....

did this hotel allow cards in the hotel last time as the last 2 events ive been to it didnt happen....

Yeah I wanted to go play at Alton Towers lol but the shops & bar dragged us back
