I sent a message to support at pacific poker. Mostly to complain about the lousy way it deals with big blinds. I ended up having the big blind for three (3) hands in a row. Two of which on the same table. That is total crap! I was doing ok, big blind once I was able to handle.. Second one started to hurt, and the third one nearly done me in. I should have been able to see atleast 20 more hands to try and get something going. I recommend everyone sending an email to pacific poker and suggest they deal with blinds like every other site out there. NEVER should anyone be big blind two hands in a row ON the same table!!!!
There has been many times in which a player is skipped over for the big blind. It's great when it happens to me, however that is not fair to ANYONE. When a player is short stack and you are depending on him hitting the big blind to knock him down more and then he is skipped over. No player should get an advantage or disadvantage on a table when it comes to blinds.
This is thier response:
Dear Member,
Thank you for contacting us.
I'm sorry to hear that you had to pay the big blind several times in a row during one of our multi-table tournaments. The moving of players in a multi-table tournament is totally random and the tables are designed to play as normal.
This can result in either you moving to a table straight into big blind position or people moving into vacated seats between you and the button.
This can result in you paying the blinds more often.
At this moment in time our program is designed to behave this way, although you paid this twice in a row another day you may miss the big blind due to relocation of tables.
However I can sympathize with the fact that this can prove detrimental to tournament play, especially when the blinds reach a significant level. This is an issue which we are currently looking at and one that may be altered in the future.
I have passed on your views to our research and development team who are always keen to hear member?s feedback.
The current big blind system is a practice that may be amended in upcoming versions of Pacific Poker.
If you require further assistance in this or any other matter, please feel free to contact us - we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Kind regards,
