I've played at loads of poker sites, and pacific is by far the worst.

One thing that always confuses me is when someone is all-in for say $40 when the big blind might $200, so normally it would cost you $200 to call. This has happeded to me a few times. I get a hand in early position and try to raise but it says ILLEGAL BET and folds my cards. I think the most you are permitted to bet when the BB is all in for a sum lower then the BB is the value of his all-in. So in the above example I would only be allowed to call $40 - which is rubbish if I'm sitting with KK or something like that.

I e-mailed their support but got no respone other then the auto e-mail.

Anyone else come across this on PP?

simple reason for a simple mind

the bb is 200 and he has 40 80 is not double the bb so it is illegle the simple way to get out of this is to raise 400 at it will be fine but as pcific have sorted this now it shouldnt be a problem

Strange how this was something I'd only seen on Pacific.

Cheers

I've been playing on Pacific for over 12 months now and have never come across this problem, and I've never seen anyone who I've been playing against have this either.

The thing about pacific is not only the software it's about the player as well (wass members are the exception)

Try to be a bee and you will be a wasp.

I like pp but I've had problems there also. Lost $50 on a sit and go that I signed up for then couldn't connect to when it started.....but still its a pretty good place to play.

I have heard that Pacific Poker use a resource hungry security system that runs on the user's PC, to check for users using ROBOTs to play their games. Maybe thats why some of us see the games going slowly sometimes. Read they take regular screen shots (how I don't know - maybe just gossip!!)

I use broadband and shouldn't experience any delays even with animation on, but Pacific Poker is terrible for performance. Gets worse the further into a tourey you get.

Worst thing you can do is go for the slider when you have a hand. It will just hang and it'll end up folding your cards.

Enough said.

It is a PP only problem guys. They are aware of the software glitch as it was highlighted to them months ago. It has happened to quite a few Wass members too.

Hopefully they will get a grip and sort it out
