This is the reason for the 10 post and remaing active rules, and comes into play with inactive members, and new members in this case.
This member started this thread because he could not get the PW and have we seen him since? NO. I need say no more. Best rule we got.

There are weaknesses with any system , numbering the posts and guaging activelty by posts just encourages spam and as a result there are the same whiney threads about freeloaders (you are only posting to get your count up) that there were 3 years ago.

I would prefer activety to be measured on how often you log in and compete rather than how much spam you can create

well the 10 post rule has been working for about 4 years so it must be a system that will work most of the time so accept it and go on from there.

ok thank you i have a fair bit of trouble navigating around this site still. i call in once a day and read the latest threads but then when i go to go back and reply to the ones ones i think r most interesting i cant find them lol. I will get better

As you will know 10 post's is nothing if you want to be part of this community, as for spam our Admin/Mods have this pretty much under control, most of the spam on here is from members who have nothing to prove any longer, we all just love the place and will post on any subject. Post's counts except for 10 and 50 have no other purpose except for braggin between Cille and Git.
