Just looking at the calender for next month and it looks a little sparse. Are there no games other than the BRL on WASSPOKER at all???
I thought that WASSPOKER would be the main place for us to play games on. I know that the new owners would like to get us to play on some new sites but to get rid of all the games on our home site is a bit of a poor way for them do it. So can you tell me if there are going to be any games set up on WASSPOKER or should I just keep my account there so I can play the BRL.

Fingers crossed that some of those holes get filled in , we have been told to be patient for a while so lets give it a chance.

I agree. I really thought that there would still be some games on Wasspoker. I for one, have built a bankroll at wasspoker and can't afford to be depositing at other sites. I thought that the new owners brough not only the forum but the poker site too ( is this correct) and would have thought that they would have been trying to get more people to play at wasspoker, rather then other sites.

we are planning on having Guaranteed games at the weekends 1 will be a buy in and the other a freeroll, they wont be exclusively for forum members as far as im aware but dont quote me on that please as nothing is set in stone yet

there will be other games in the future but right now things are bring done slowly and they are being built up

I am just finding it hard to understand why someone would buy a poker site and then pull all the forum games from it. I dont play at any other sites so this week will be my last week playing forum games apart from BRL. I guess its time I found a new forum that plays games at merge

because it is losing over $3000 a month because of the amount of people playing in them.

he is hoping that by giving the guaranteed games every weekend that it will pull more people into the forum and then other games can be provided so that they can spend their hard earned cash on them

but the number have to raise first before things happen as he cannot be losing money like its been doing

well novi i cannot see why people are slagging wass owner jon off at the moment

he just bought the place and is trying things his way ( its his place so he does have this privelige )

now as for pulling all the forum games - hes done this as they were all stale how many times did any of the forum games get more than 20 people ? did that earn him any money ( nope )

and as for you building your bankroll at wass - i take it that means you have never deposited there ? if thats the case jon realy wont miss you he needs people to deposit to earn money .- take that however you want to but thats the way it needs to be explained

he has bought this as a buisness and that means he needs to make money -therefor he will do everything he can to make money that means getting lots more players in the forum games

cmon admit it - when we had games with 50 or 60 people in there were much more fun than games like the 1 point bingo game with 14 bingo players in it each night .

our special games used to have over 60 people in them ( well mine did anyway and im gona be struggling to get half that this time i recon )
bigger fields bigger prizemoney .

ps - theres hundreds of games on wass poker its just there not forum games at the moment

pps - you wont have much trouble finding freeroll forums playing at merge theres millions of them lol

Ok firstly I am not slagging anyone off. I am just saying how I feel ( just like you do). Tell me where I have slagged anyone off and if you can find it I will apologise.

Secondly yes I have deposited at Wasspoker, more then once but have managed to win a bit lately so my BR is looking healthier then it has done for a long time.

Thirdly I agree that the games have been seeing less and less players of late and that this is a business that has to make money, I am just (personally gutted that all the games are being pulled from wasspoker as I dont play at any other site. I have tried many a time to get on with other sites but I just dont like the graphics on them and always come back to merge.

i have had a few little companys and i always get rid of whats not needed to save money then start spending , - the patient ones will be rewarded

ps - why bother with the cryptic messages on facebook lol - i only read facebook about 3mins every day so most of the time i would have missed it completly

Welshgit, you are right in your asessment, he bought it and it is his to do with as he pleases. And if it is losing money, then it is his obligation to reverse that trend and find a path to profitability.

It looks to me like the US players are being cut out, as all the sites listed so far do not allow US players ( I still miss playing at Mansion, lol) and one of them is a questionable site. So if the value added tournies and freerolls are going to be elsewhere, then there is no inducement for US players to be Wassers, since the profits will be invested in NON-US sites.

Even with games on WassPoker, if they are open to anyone, then that is just the same as playing in the normal WassPoker Games. I play in some of them, mainly the 20:00 1k gtd, and some of the SNG's but for the most part, I prefer the game structure at a different site.

As for deposting, I deposited here once, and used the FirstWass bonus code. To collect the bonus, the requirements were astronomical, something like 100 times the bonus in rake to get a lousy bonus. If you want to encourage deposits, offer reasonable bonus terms. And I have a ton of VIP Points and no idea what to do with them.

I guess there are lots of opportunities for the new owners to find improvements, and I wish them well.
