This is an official decision but this post is made unofficially by me until an admin can update you all.
There will be NO BRL for the moment, unsure if/when it will return. It was mentioned to run singles leagues but waiting on finding out who is gonna run them.
So for now thats all I can say, its not been finalised in admin yet but that is where it stands for the moment.
Hopefully an admin will post today but I thought best let you all know how far we are in this.
Sorry..

The proposal is to change the brl for two months and run it as a singles league.
If we do this it will be kept nice and simple with only the final table finishers scoring points. We can use the FT points setup from the regular brl.
If anybody else would like to run it a different way then now is the time to speak.
Sounds good to me if the league is not going ahead this month,
I have regged in both but its a bit like a ghost town at the moment,

I have registered for this game. League or Singles league, its a way that friends can get together and play a good game and chat.
Last year when the BRL was off for a month, it was mostly England and evo players (not that we needed the practice, lol) who played and it was fun.
So anyone with some free time on their hands and want to play a friendly game, come on and register.
Thank you for your kind support.

I stand corrected dazmon, you are right. I had it mixed up with another time that we played. Think Stoke weekend maybe.
Still none the less, register and play!!!

Singles League?
Are we going to play these games as a Singles League?
I remember calculating scores once before and would be happy to do it again if people want me to. We would need to agree what scoring system we would use. Gary was suggesting just using the bonus points that we usually use for the BRL. However that means that 12th would score the same as the person finishing 20th.
I have no personal preference but as the game is tonight we ought to make a quick decision. I would be surprised if there was a prize but maybe Bragging Rights is enough?

I have no problem with Adam keeping track of score.
Scoring I would suggest, example; first out getting one point and so one more for each finishing spot. say 20th spot 1 point, 19th 2 points and so on down to first place getting 20 points. I think the way BRL is scored anyway, only no bonus for FT.

Adam the way I see it is this.
If you want to keep the scoring, pick a systme you think is fair mate and run with it. At the end of the day if you are willing to give the time to do it then you should have some say in it.

You are right in theory. The problem is I don't care how we score. I think Nursy's method is as good as any. Nice and simple.
The only other thing I am going to suggest (and implement if no-one strongly disagrees) is not to include anyone who sits out more than 20 mins (same as BRL).
Good luck all.
