The Divas were origionally called the Apple Bottoms, here's the line up

Then the Dangerous Divas were born

There have been changes and changes since then.....captains have been ( I think lol)

Daisy, Cardie, Paisleysky, Stinkee (I think), please forgive me i've forgotten anyone!

I can't believe that this has been going for 4 years, Tina,
Nikki, Eunice, Tracey, Loonzilicious, Katrina, Mad, Smj(Chelle), Weetiney, Fritz, Stinkee, Paisley, Dori, Cardie... there are so many great people who we had a great time with. Latterly Derek and Graham,Debby, Andy and Trish, Leo, Deek who popped in too.

Special mention to Sumosam who will forever be in our hearts.

Shaz we've worked well as a team and the present Divas you have been so dedicated at times it was quite amazing.
I know that I will keep in touch both on here and in person, thank you for your support both on the tables and personally, at times I felt like my chilldren had a whole lot of aunties.

Special mention to Trish, Salmon, Spytty and Gary who have all had a hand in keeping the BRL going. If I forgot anyone sorry our thread is a hell of a long one to go through lol....

Tears are pouring in my eyes! Damn you Katy !!

There is NOT much that can be said after this, except perhaps;

A HUGE thank you for everyone for committing to this team. I've never seen so much love given over the internet as I did see with the Divas. I always thought it impossible to develop a friendship, like ours. Guess you've proven me way wrong. Thank you so much Katy for WHO you are! You are one of a kind.

It was an honor to be your "original" Captain !! You were all very patient with me. My leadership at the time, coincided with the worst of my illness and more often than not, you had to be strong FOR me. And for that will always be in your depth. To this day, I wished I could have been a better Captain, but .... at least it got better for me. Ty for not letting me leave.... would have missed a lot.

You are and always be; my brothers and sisters.

Now, LETS GET DRUNK !!!!

DIVAS = WHAT A BLAST !!!

thanks to all you divas you have always been polite on the tables and always played the bragging league how it was meant to be played ( as a fun team event )

It has been an emotional time since we talked about this. It has been a pleasure to be on the Diva team... It is a loving team. It is sad to see so many great players leave BRL, and it is sad it is from the Diva team. But I do know you have many years behind you. You definitely deserve the break, even if it is forever....


I don't know my future! I'll just see... what the future gives me.


I wish you all stay open, because who knows what the future will come with.... *trying to be positive*


Good to know that you are going to be around at least.



I guess we'll meet at some poker table sometimes. Just stay of much chip stack and I'll be happy.

I had to come back just once more.

I have had such a great time since i joined this forum. I have met some really great friens and also pissed a few of them of ( for this i am tryely sorry).

The divas have seen me through some really bad time and without them it would of been hard. I have had the best times of my life at the live events, i have never known a nicer bunch of people.

I also owe this site a lot if it wasnt for wass i would never of met the man of my dreams. He is all i need in a man and more.

I know that once a diva always a diva an we will never ever forget sumo she was a inspiration to a lot of us

omg- I haven't logged in for a while ! -- It is kind of bitter/sweet for the Divas to be retiring -- it's been a lot of fun and I've loved playing with you all. Special thanks to Shaz & Katy for keeping us together for so long in the end!! And of course to Daisy for being the (most) original Captain- haha - yahooo!

It has been a pleasure playing with such wonderful team members for the last 3 years........I will miss how BRL used to be....lots of fun and kidding around and maybe it will get that back someday...
