GPT BRL #45 June Champions/Gathering Place/Daily Chat/Bragging Thread

Thought i'd start us up a thread for everyone to post in if you feel the need too.Since June is over now.And it seems their wont be a team league for a couple months.

Anyone going to play in the Single Bragging Rights League in July and August? I haven't read the forum much since this weekend.So ain't %100 sure there is a actual League going go?

But i thought i'd just tell everyone i won't be playing in it.Wouldn't make sense for me to play since i can only play on sundays.

How is everyone doing out there? Hope everyone is well.I'm busy as heck with work.But looking forward to this weekend.It's the 4th of July and it's going to be Dylan's first official fireworks extravaganza day.I'm sooooo excited

Congrats on the win of the last BRL. I'm proud of all of you! I'm not suprised that the BRL is closed now, I assumed it will happen sooner or later. Take care all.

I was just getting on a wavy man roll, so I believe it's a conspiracy to keep me from winning the most wavy men in a row ever seen at Wass! To me it doesn't really matter if we have BRL or not I will still make guest appearances to say hello to my teammates until a new game can be found.The nature of our friendships, like how we are all from differant countries and yet have the same hobbies and stuff is really cool.So i will stick around here even if i don't play in the singles league.

Now that i have the touchy feely thing off my chest, i was wondering how is it that i can add my wavy man to my posts? Secondly, when is our free roll damnit, we got burned last time and i won't allow it to happen again!!! LOL, i hope that scared whoever runs those things.

Great to hear from you again Christian. Thanks for the congrats. As for the BRL this is only a temporary pause in the game atm, although I share your fear that it might be difficult to keep going.

This made me laugh Pete. I will probably play as many of the Singles league games as I can if they go ahead. I am just going off to see if it is going to happen.

Also, Dean, cherish that moment or at least the next couple years as to when the little one doesn't find them scary but super awed in amazement. That look is priceless!

It was a long long time coming but I always knew this team was good enough to win another BRL title. This team is so much more to me then just some online poker players, its a family. some family members have gone but will never be forgotten and maybe one day they will return to us.

Great to hear from you Christian. Hope all is good with you and life is treating you well.

If this is the end of the BRL then it will be a real shame but I guess people move on, lives change and more important things come along that take people away from sitting at their computers. I may get a life one day and join that group of people, but for now I am just sorry to see that the BRL may be gone for good. Lets hope not.

WHen I read all the old team threads it amazes me how much this team has changed but also grown but it doesn't surprise me that we won another BL title. We all played well all month and we now have the right to Brag. Not sure we will ever see our prize though. Seems the powers that be are not that interested in anything that is going on at this forum.

waste of a good forum and poker site.
i am sure there are many that wish they had their own forum & poker site.
i did not think we would recieve our winners freeroll, i have not seen any funds from the site owner for added trny's or out of his pocket freerolls . so i figured we would not get anything from him.
But Mod's & Admin's still have some forum site control, the least they could have done was give us our BRL trophy.
and we keep the trophy till it is won by another team !!!

i got pics of his priceless 1st 4th of july moment.also two little girls older then dylan were flirting hugging and holding his hand.OMG it was the cutest thing ever.

i got pics of that too.and will post them later.my little boy is a player and a heart breaker already (that's my boy)

all those other winners freerolls we won in the past but never received.has made me move on from believing we'd ever be granted one again.that's why when i play the BRL.i don't play it for the rewards i play it to show we are the best team !!!

it doesn't seem like too many care about this.last time i checked the team from two months ago was wearing the trophy.looks like the divas who won last month never even got to wear theirs.

but i agree with you ron.if no BRL ever starts up in the future.GPT should wear the trophy until we get beat!!!
