AVG help needed

hi guys

i have AVG on my pc and it updates as soon as i turn the pc on and it takes forever to start up like 5 mins because of this

ive looked and looked all over the dam thing and cant find where to alter it so that it doesnt start when its turned on

the other thing is that it starts scanning at 8am and 12 midnight if the pcs on

can anyone help me please im desperate to stop these things going off by themselves, im perfectly capable of running the scan when i want to and downloading the updates

go to test center then go to schednler then go to edit schedule ware you see it say between clik on and you can changed your time

You can also right click on the avg icon and cancel the scan , then run it later

I think it's the automatic virus update she's talking about which hopefully is sorted, as she didn't want it to update when she switched on the pc everytime. Hopefully she's got it done now

well after a 10 min conversation with chum last night we worked through it and although the virus did start running at 12 midnight last night ( but then i hadnt turned it off to update the pc) it didnt take 5 mins to turn on this morning
